Manifesto of a Rebel
THE BIOGRAPHY
ZYNR emerged from the shadows of South London in 2019, armed with nothing but a battered guitar and a throat full of screams that needed releasing. Born from the collision of gothic romanticism and punk defiance, ZYNR represents the voice of those who feel too much in a world that feels too little.
Growing up battling anxiety and depression, music became the only language that made sense. The darkness wasn't something to escape—it was something to transform. Every lyric is a diary entry, every chord progression a map through the chaos of the mind.
What started as bedroom recordings during the isolation of 2020 evolved into a movement. The songs resonated with a generation tired of toxic positivity, hungry for authenticity. ZYNR doesn't promise happiness—ZYNR promises honesty.
THE MANIFESTO
"Music should be a mirror, not a mask."
We believe in the power of darkness to illuminate. In the strength found in vulnerability. In the rebellion of simply being yourself in a world demanding conformity.
We stand for mental health awareness without the sanitized corporate messaging. For community without gatekeeping. For art that bleeds.
This is not entertainment. This is survival.
